Task
Belgorod is a city in the south of Central Russia, the administrative center of the Belgorod region, the city of the first fireworks, the city of military fame and a scientific, cultural, and educational center. This is how Wikipedia academically interprets it. We decided to move away from this official status and to show Belgorod through ideology as we, the modern citizens of the city, know it and love it - bright, brave, creative, and young.
Ideas and solutions
The basis for identification of elements is bright and soft forms with rethought colours of the Belgorod region flag. Identics can be easily adapted to different media: from city navigation to printing products. The main logo is the capital letter B. Its repetition forms a recognizable pattern that can be used in souvenirs. We have created an emotional and memorable image that attracts attention and stands out in the gray monotonous urban environment. We show: Belgorod is a developed and promising city with its identity and provincial uniqueness.
