Task
«The Caucasian War» is a series project produced by «TASS» and «Eto Kavkaz» portal which commemorates the longest and the most controversial military conflict in the history of Russia.
Ideas and solutions
The core part of the project shows the chronicle of turning events of the Caucasian War whereas its supporting parts introduce major parties of the conflict, their weaponry, regimentals and insignia, the life in the Caucasus and how the war influenced the cultures of these parties. The interactive format of the project allows readers to soak into the epoch tracing its influence over the modern world. The project commemorates the 155th anniversary of the war and involves the participation of famous researchers – historians, and the exposition of the unique artifacts from Caucasian museums and the Russian State Military Historical Archive. https://voina.etokavkaz.ru/
