Task
To conceptualize and design a special publicity project on the coal industry, for publication on ria.ru
Ideas and solutions
The special project is designed as interactive motion graphics laying out the history of coal production and highlighting its significance to people. The dynamic illustrated story tells us about the origins of coal as well as its past and present applications. The format of the graphics is supposed to engage users in controlling the narrative. Action is paused several times for interactive quizzes which the user answers before continuing watching. Questions help users to understand and more easily absorb the information.
