Task

To develop the visual design of the international festival of the special theater "Proteatr" — promotional, digital advertising, printed materials, souvenirs.

Ideas and solutions

Annual Festival of the special theater "Proteatr" is not just a theatrical and cultural event, but also a research place that gathers psychologists, therapists (art therapists), theater critics, cultural scientists, anthropologists and other specialists. The festival program includes perfomances and workshops. In a dialogue with the organizers of the festival, we looked for such conceptual solutions so that the visual design was an ideological and meaningful continuation of the festival. Based on the idea of ​​research, search, I proposed the principle of image focusing - we focus on a special theater, search, explore. In addition, the blur solution works well in large formats, even in cases where the photo source is not of very good quality. I put the dates, countries and additional information about the festival in a single unit, which works on the basis of the toggle switch. With country switching, the background image corresponding to it also switches. Typography continues the idea of ​​blurry images (understatement), it seemed to freeze in the drawing process - the contours of the letters are unfinished, as are the thin lines along the contour of the poster, which are about to be ready to connect into a single frame
