Dom.ru Movix is an interactive television service with hundreds of TV channels and a large catalog of movies and TV shows. One of the ways to connect to the service is by using a set-top box for which we created branded packaging. The packaging not only protects the device from bumps and damage during transportation but also effectively presents it to the user. Dom.ru set-top boxes Movix and Movix Pro differ in size, feature set and price. For each of them, we thought out the construction of the lodgements, the placement of devices inside the box and selected the materials and the main colours of the packaging. The remote control (which was also developed by us) is branded with a small ribbon tag with a company logo on it. The same ribbon is used through the whole packaging: it helps to open the box and take out the set-top box from the lodgement. After installing the set-top box, the packaging could be used as a storage box for useful little things
